The Papers page is Sequoia’s catalogue of research papers and publications.
Use this page to find publication records relevant to a study, phenotype, analysis, or research question, and open the linked external publication source where available.
Browse paper records
The Papers table displays publication records and key bibliographic details.

For each record, you can view:
- Title
- Author(s)
- Year
- Link
- Status
An Active status indicates that the paper record is currently available in the portal.
Search for a paper
Use the search field to find papers by title, author, or other supported terms.

Enter a keyword, author name, or part of the publication title, then select Search to update the table.
Use advanced filters
Select Advanced Filters to refine the results using additional paper attributes.

Filters can help you narrow a large publication list by properties such as publication year, author, or status, where available.
Open a paper record
Select the eye icon beside a paper to view its available record details.

Use the paper-details view to review the full title and any available publication metadata.
Open the external publication link
Select the link shown in the Link column to open the associated external publication page.

The link may direct you to a publisher website, PubMed, or another external source. Access to full text may depend on the source and your institutional or personal permissions.
Add a new paper
Select New Paper to create a new paper record.

Add accurate bibliographic information, including the title, authors, publication year, and external publication link.

Manage a paper record
Select the three-dot menu at the end of a paper row to view available record actions.

Available actions may include editing, managing, or updating the paper record, depending on your access permissions.
Sort and configure the table
Select a sort icon in a column heading to sort the paper list. Select Columns to choose which fields are displayed.

For example, sort by Year to review the most recent publications first.
Tips
- Search by a distinctive word from the title or by first author when you cannot recall the full citation.
- Check the external link before relying on a paper record for detailed methods or results.
- Use a complete and accurate title, author list, year, and link when creating a new record.
- Keep inactive or duplicate records appropriately managed to maintain a reliable publication catalogue.
